Normally I wouldn’t have approached a place like this as it looks like a nice sitdown place that couldn’t possibly have anything at the price point I am looking for. Fortunately someone online mentioned the place, so when I walked past it I stopped to have a look.
Good thing I did. On the lunch menu, in the Sandwich section, there are 7 options that are $4.95.

I decided to stay traditional for my first visit here and ordered the Beef Gyro Sanwich. It was given to me very quickly, especially for a sitdown restaurant that had customers eating there. I was caught off guard by how fast the gyro was in my hands. And once it was in my hands, I was also surprised by how heavy and dense this gyro was. Good sign.

So I leave with my gyro curious as to what form this beast would take. I peeled back the tin foil to find a massive greek style pita fully loaded with gyro meat beef slices, lettuce, tomatoes, raw onions, and tzatziki. It came out fresh and piping hot.

Taste certainly did not dissapoint. It was very moist (for gyro meat standards) and completely filling. I usually like my gyros drenched in tzatziki (though I don’t think most people do) so next time I will know to request extra tzatziki on my sandwich.
This is a phenomenal deal. A fresh, hot, HUGE, delicious meal for cheap.
